Presenting Specialized Expo 2027 Candidacy to Diplomatic Representatives in Belgrade
In early March, a reception was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the candidacy of Belgrade and Serbia for the organization of the Specialized EXPO 2027 “Play for humanity – Sport and Music for All” was presented.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić addressed the diplomatic representatives, while Dušan Borovčanin, a member of the creative team of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the EXPO 2027 Candidacy, presented the work done so far on the successful organization of Specialized EXPO 2027.
During his address, HE Dačić pointed out that Serbia, with its candidacy wants to promote the spirit of cooperation, sports and fair competition and encourage everyone to see the world in a different way.
“We are deeply convinced that Serbia can offer a healthy environment and ideal conditions for the organization of such a manifestation. We were the first to have started preparing the candidacy and the location for the exhibition, we showed firm determination to make this project a successful one”, underlined HR Dačić.
HE Dačić also referred to the fact that the region of Southeast Europe has not hosted such an event in the last 30 years, as well as that the goal of Serbia and Belgrade is for this exhibition to be dedicated to the promotion of our country, the capital, but also the entire region, in the economic, cultural , and in every other sense.
At the presentation, a firm promise was made once again that Serbia, by organizing the Specialized EXPO 2027, will offer a universal and generally accepted context that will surely be well received by numerous participants at the exhibition.
The presentation of the candidacy was attended by numerous diplomatic representatives, with conviction that the member countries of the International Bureau of Exhibitions will recognize the cosmopolitan spirit of modern Serbia and our capital, and show us their support for the organization of this prestigious event.
