No major global event is complete without a mascot, and Expo 2027 Belgrade is no exception! Officially unveiled at the Serbian pavilion during the World Expo in Osaka, the mascots embody the spirit of unity, creativity, and the universal energy of play – the central theme of Expo 2027.Hand-painted and stylized as a boy and a girl dressed in recognizable elements of traditional Serbian folk costumes, these characters vividly represent Belgrade and Serbia's identity, heritage, and cultural legacy. At the same time, they promote the values of diversity, inclusivity, and innovation at the heart of the first International Exhibition in the Western Balkans. These superheroes of play will soon receive their names, and everyone is invited to participate in the naming process. Designed to be fun, simple, and dynamic, the selection process is a quest to choose names that will become part of history.
