EXPO 2027 Belgrade is a specialised international exhibition that will bring together countries from around the world to present their ideas, innovations, culture and solutions for the future. It will be a place where different nations, knowledge and experiences meet, with a focus on the theme “Play for Humanity – Sport and Music for All”.

EXPO 2027 Belgrade will take place from 15 May to 15 August 2027 in Belgrade, at the future EXPO complex in Surčin.

EXPO 2027 will last 93 days, from 15 May to 15 August 2027.

Serbia was chosen to host EXPO 2027 following a competition with five candidate cities: Belgrade (Serbia), Málaga (Spain), Minnesota (USA), Phuket (Thailand) and San Carlos de Bariloche (Argentina). Belgrade’s winning bid stood out with a clear vision of EXPO as a place that connects people, ideas and cultures, alongside the theme “Play for Humanity – Sport and Music for All”. Serbia was recognised for its potential to organise an event that brings the world together, encourages development and creates a lasting legacy through new infrastructure and facilities.

A Specialized Expo is smaller in scale than a World Expo and focuses on a specific theme. Specialized Expos take place between World Expos and last up to three months.

EXPO is not just an exhibition — it is a place where people, ideas and cultures from around the world come together. It is a space where every generation can find something for themselves: children through play and learning, young people through new experiences and inspiration, families through shared moments, and the business community through networking, innovation and new opportunities.
