At the Day of Serbian Tourism, organised by the Tourist Organisation of Serbia and held at the Serbian House in Paris, EXPO 2027 Belgrade was presented to a large audience. Speaking about the impact this event will have on tourism, Dušan Borovčanin, Director of the EXPO 2027 Belgrade, stated that the Specialised Exhibition is a catalyst for numerous economic sectors and a significant tourism opportunity for Serbia and the region.
"The Specialised Exhibition is taking place in the Western Balkans for the first time, and for that reason, we see the entire region as the host of the EXPO. Serbia is globally recognised as a country of sports, music, excellent food, and natural beauty, which is why the number of tourists visiting it is increasing year by year. However, we expect the peak in the number of visitors in 2027, during the EXPO 2027 Belgrade, when more than 3 million people from around the world will visit Serbia in just 3 months", said Borovčanin.
The Director of EXPO 2027 Belgrade also mentioned that the Specialised Exhibition would be an opportunity to present ourselves to the entire world as a country of play, sports, music, culture, and above all, good hosts during the three-month event.
At the Day of Serbian Tourism, Marija Labović, Director of the Tourist Organisation of Serbia, and Ana Hrustanović, Serbian Ambassador to France, also spoke, inviting everyone to visit Serbia and personally experience all the beauty of our country, as well as to ensure they are in Belgrade in 2027 during the Specialised Exhibition.
