Another Record Confirmed: Expo 2027 Belgrade Surpasses All Expectations

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Bangladesh, as the 120th confirmed participating country, has once again confirmed Serbia’s historic success - now, the Specialised Exhibition is not only bringing together the highest number of participants in the history of Specialised Expos but is also the fastest-filled event of its kind ever.

“This achievement confirms not only the international reputation of our country and the strength of the brand we have built, but also the tremendous desire of states, institutions, and people across the globe to be part of this prestigious manifestation in Belgrade. It is the best evidence of Serbia’s potential to become a global meeting point of innovation, knowledge, and cooperation,” said Danilo Jerinić, Director of Expo 2027 Belgrade ltd.

He reminded that the goal was to reach 100 confirmed participants by the end of this year, but that the planned figure had already been exceeded:

“We have already achieved the number of confirmations we had initially planned for the Expo - 120 countries. The interest is remarkable, and it is clear that there is a certain competition for space at our Expo,” Jerinić emphasised, adding that the most important task ahead is to work even harder on the preparation and organisation in order to prove that Serbia will be an excellent host.

The inclusion of countries from the region further demonstrates that Expo 2027 is not only an opportunity for Serbia but also for this part of Europe as a whole. Then, Belgrade will have the chance to showcase its young and talented people, domestic industry, tourism potential, and the hospitality of its citizens to the entire world.

Through the “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All” Theme, Expo 2027 Belgrade is already positioning itself as a historic project that will reshape Serbia’s development path and confirm it as a true host to the world.
