Day Three of the TPM: Delegates Introduced to National Day Experience and Expo 2027 Programme

On the third and final day of the Technical Preparation Meeting (TPM), delegates from participating countries toured the site of the future Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade and were introduced to the routes, programme content and experiences that will form part of the programme for participants and visitors during the 93 days of the exhibition. Through the “National Day in Motion: Official Route” tour, they were shown how National Day activities will be organised, while the “Programme in Motion: Venue and Visitor Experience Tour” introduced them to the spaces where different events and activities will take place. “The National Day route went very well. The delegates were very satisfied, and our team was well prepared, concise and precise, so all the details were clear to them,” said Ivan Dimitrijević from the Sports Sector of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade, adding that the delegates are looking forward to the opening of the Expo with great interest.

Dimitrijević said that four sports courts are planned within the Expo complex, allowing for basketball, handball, futsal, volleyball and tennis, as well as an additional space for padel. The tours enabled representatives of participating countries to gain a clearer picture of how the exhibition will function on a daily basis and what their participation will look like, in addition to the technical aspects of preparing their pavilions. The three-day TPM brought together more than 250 delegates from 43 countries, including commissioners, architects, engineers, designers and programme experts. With the conclusion of the meeting, preparations by participating countries are entering the operational phase, with intensified coordination on national pavilions and programme content ahead of Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade, which will take place from 15 May to 15 August 2027.
