Dedinje Institute to Present Achievements of Serbian Medicine at Expo 2027

Danilo Jerinić, Director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade, and Academician Prof. Dr Milovan Bojić, Director of the National Institute for Heart and Blood Vessels “Dedinje”, signed a Participation Contract formalising the Institute’s participation in Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade. The Institute will be presented within the Best Practices Zone, where visitors from Serbia and around the world will be introduced to the achievements of Serbian cardiovascular medicine, science and modern technologies. “For me, the ‘Dedinje’ Institute is synonymous with innovation, and we will have an opportunity to discuss all the innovations that await us in the future and that will change our everyday lives, as well as medicine,” Jerinić said, emphasizing that the Institute’s participation is an opportunity to present the best of Serbia in medicine and science to an international audience.

Academician Prof. Dr Milovan Bojić said that the Institute is intensively preparing for its appearance and will present Serbian cardiovascular medicine, science, professional expertise, innovations and practical knowledge through interactive and accessible content. Its participation will also be linked to the Institute’s anniversary, with 50 years of its work and existence to be marked at the Expo on 3 June. “We will be interactive, communicative, interesting and approachable to visitors, and we will present the best that Serbian cardiovascular medicine has to offer,” Bojić said. Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade will take place from 15 May to 15 August 2027 under the theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All,” with more than four million visits expected over the 93 days of the exhibition.
