EXPO 2027 AND THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF SERBIA SIGN PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT: EXPO 2027 OPENS THE WORLD'S DOORS TO SERBIAN BUSINESS

The Director of "EXPO 2027" d.o.o. Belgrade, Danilo Jerinić, and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Marko Čadež, today signed the Participation Agreement for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia in the Expo 2027 Belgrade exhibition, launching at the same time a business platform for connecting the domestic economy with the exhibition's international participants. Entrepreneurs and companies from Serbia can register via the official website and present their products, services and capacities.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia will be one of the strategic partners in implementing the business component of Expo 2027, and will also have its own pavilion at the site, showcasing the domestic economy, startups and young businesses.

"Expo is a great business Olympics and a huge opportunity for our economy. Estimates suggest that over the next ten years the Expo project will have an impact on our economy of more than nine billion euros and contribute to the creation of nearly 360,000 jobs," said Jerinić.

Through the business platform, domestic companies will be able to present their business and services to the participating countries — ranging from design and logistics to IT services and security. As a continuation of this initiative, the Business Caravan will soon be launched, touring cities across Serbia to present entrepreneurs with the opportunities brought by Expo 2027.

The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Marko Čadež, emphasized that the goal is for Expo to contribute to the long-term transformation of the domestic economy and its positioning on the international market.

"We want to make the transition from 'Made in Serbia' to 'Created in Serbia' — toward an economy based on knowledge, innovation and new solutions. Expo gives us the opportunity to make, in three months, a quantum leap that would otherwise take us years, if not decades," Čadež concluded.

The Expo 2027 business program will include six thematic business forums, a two-day global business and technology summit, over 250 bilateral business events, and more than 50,000 business meetings. In May 2027, during the Expo, GITEX AI Serbia will also be held in Belgrade.
