Expo 2027 Brings the World Together: More Than 1,000 International Applicants Join the Volunteer Programme

More than 7,400 candidates have so far applied for the Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade volunteer programme, including 1,025 candidates from more than 62 countries. The largest numbers of international applicants come from Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Slovenia, Italy, North Macedonia, Austria, Switzerland, Japan and Montenegro. During the 93 days of the exhibition, volunteers will welcome visitors, provide information and assistance, and take part in the work of pavilions, programme activities, protocol and other areas of the organisation.

"Volunteers will be the first hosts visitors meet when they arrive in Belgrade, which is why their role will be much greater than providing organisational support. Through their knowledge, smiles and hospitality, they will represent Serbia and the values promoted by Expo - cooperation, connection and understanding among people," said Danilo Jerinić, Director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o.
