As the planet marks World Creativity and Innovation Day, Belgrade reaffirms that these very values are at the heart of its future, because creativity and innovation are not just part of the city’s identity; they form the foundation of Expo 2027, one of the most significant international events ahead.

Under the theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All,” Expo 2027 Belgrade emphasizes the power of play, movement, music, and togetherness as sources not only of joy but also of progress. In this spirit, creativity and innovation are not reserved solely for tech laboratories – they are alive in the streets, schools, sports halls, among artists, and especially among young people whose ideas are shaping the world of tomorrow.

“Expo 2027 is much more than an exhibition – it is a global stage where we will demonstrate how a community can inspire the world through its innovative approach, culture of dialogue, and spirit of cooperation,” says Dušan Borovčanin, CEO of Expo 2027 Belgrade. “That’s why this day is a symbolic reminder for us that every individual is a potential agent of change – if we give them the space to create and transform.”
