Expo 2027 Playground: September Dedicated to Science, Play, and Creativity

Expo 2027 Playground is entering a new phase - September brings a programme that blends science, art, and play, transforming them into an unforgettable experience for all generations.

In the spirit of the “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All” Theme, visitors can look forward to a rich programme featuring interactive workshops, spectacular science shows, and artistic activities designed to inspire, entertain, and bring closer the spirit of the upcoming Specialised Expo.

One of the most attractive highlights will be the “Film Tricks Through Science” workshop, where participants will uncover the secrets of special effects - from creating fake blood to coloured flames and smoke clouds. Alongside it, audiences will enjoy the “Science That Sparks, Crackles, and Bubbles!” science show, where the laws of physics are discovered by holding fire in your hands, icy smoke, and controlled explosions.

In Tesla’s Footsteps: From Lightnings in Your Hands to a Video Game Hero

As a part of the “Electricity Through Science - From Cells to Lightnings” workshop, visitors will become part of an electric circuit and discover the unique connection between biology and physics. The “Become a Video Game Character” exhibition will allow an interactive totem to transform every visitor into a video game hero, revealing the magical fusion of science and technology.

The creative segment of the programme will also include Arts & Crafts workshops, where participants can design their own backpack or create illusions using the agamograph technique. September programme will be further enriched with sports activities, fully aligned with the main Expo 2027 theme.
