Expo 2027 Presented in Zagreb: New Business Opportunities for the Tourism Industry and Companies from Croatia

Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade and Serbia's tourism potential were presented in Zagreb as part of the international Visit Serbia promotion. More than four million visits are expected at the exhibition, creating an opportunity for guests to extend their stay and visit destinations across Serbia. Igor Kovačević, Executive Director and Director of the International Participants Sector at EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade, spoke with representatives of Croatia's tourism and hotel industries about offers that would combine a visit to the Expo with tours of other parts of the country. Business opportunities for companies from Croatia and the entire region were also discussed.

More than 140 international participants over 93 days will give domestic and regional companies an opportunity to meet partners from different markets. More than 120 National Day slots have been reserved, between 700 and 800 international delegation arrivals are expected, along with several hundred business events and conferences. “Businesses from Serbia and across the region have an opportunity during the Expo to meet partners from key geographic markets and key niches, and to try to place their products and services, as well as test how globally competitive they are,” Kovačević said. The presentation in Zagreb forms part of the promotion of Serbia and Expo 2027 in European and global markets.
