EXPO 2027: Three Bids Submitted for Global PR Agency Services

EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade has conducted an open international public procurement procedure for global public relations agency services, aimed at promoting Expo 2027 Belgrade across key international markets.

Three international bidders have submitted proposals: Karv of New York, MC Group of Berlin and Third Floor DWC LLC of Dubai.

The procurement covers comprehensive global PR support for Expo 2027, including the development of an international communications strategy, engagement with global media outlets, organisation of media events, establishment of an international media office, and the development of media partnerships. Particular emphasis is placed on outreach across Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania, with the objective of strengthening the international visibility and positioning of Expo 2027 Belgrade.

Danilo Jerinić, Director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade, has emphasised that the objective is to further enhance the international profile and recognition of both Expo 2027 and Serbia as the host country on the global stage.

“This is an essential step towards attracting as many international visitors and companies as possible to Expo 2027 Belgrade. The arrival of these companies means greater investment, stronger economic activity and a further boost to Serbia’s long-term growth and development,” said Jerinić.

He added that Expo’s professional evaluation teams will review the submitted proposals and, in accordance with the applicable procurement procedure, select the most advantageous bidder within the prescribed timeframe.

The successful bidder will be selected on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. In addition to price, qualitative criteria will also be assessed, including experience in delivering communications services for World and Specialised Expos, global market presence and expertise in building the international profiles of countries and national tourism organisations.

Some of the world’s most experienced international communications agencies have expressed interest in leading the global communications campaign for Expo 2027. Their references include major World and Specialised Expos, global investment forums and international projects delivered for governments and public institutions worldwide.

Their portfolios encompass communications campaigns for Expos in Osaka, Dubai, Astana, Milan, Shanghai, and Hanover, as well as the World Economic Forum in Davos and GITEX 2025, including

internationally recognised campaigns reaching millions of people and generating thousands of media placements.

“The fact that globally established agencies of this calibre have expressed interest in partnering with Expo 2027 is a further confirmation of the growing international profile, visibility, and significance that Belgrade and Serbia already enjoy, and will continue to strengthen, in the lead-up to and throughout the Exhibition in 2027,” said Danilo Jerinić, Director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade.

Expo 2027 Belgrade, held under the theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All”, will take place in Belgrade from 15 May to 15 August 2027.
