We would like to inform the media and the public that a user account currently active on the social media platform X is unauthorisedly using the name and logo of Expo 2027 Belgrade.
EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade does not maintain an official account on X and does not operate any other account on that platform.
We have been made aware of an ongoing discussion on X involving a fake profile operating under the name “Expo 2027 Belgrade” (@expo_belgrade), which has engaged with certain political actors and participated in discussions relating to day-to-day political matters that are entirely unrelated to the official programme and activities of Expo 2027 Belgrade.
We would like to emphasise that Expo 2027 does not participate in political activities and does not take positions on current political issues. Expo 2027 Belgrade is an international Specialised Exhibition organised in accordance with the principles of international cooperation, dialogue, and neutrality.
The account in question has been reported to X for identity misrepresentation and the unauthorised use of the Expo 2027 visual identity. We expect the account to be removed as soon as possible.
