Expo 2030 Riyadh and Expo 2027 Belgrade Sign Cooperation Agreement on the Implemen-tation of a Structured Knowledge Transfer and Observer Programme

Expo 2030 Riyadh and Expo 2027 Belgrade have signed a Cooperation Agreement establishing a programme for the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices in the preparation and organisation of international exhibitions. The Agreement provides for study visits, workshops, expert exchanges and observer programmes in areas such as governance, site development, participant management, operational readiness and digital systems.

The Agreement was signed during the official visit of the Expo 2030 Riyadh delegation to Serbia, attended by Dimitri Kerkentzes, Secretary General of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE). During the visit, meetings were held on preparations for Expo 2027, including a tour of the construction site and an exchange of experience between the organisational teams of Belgrade and Riyadh.

“We are walking the path to success together and facing similar challenges and questions. This is precisely why it is so important that today we are formally further strengthening our cooperation,” said Danilo Jerinić, CEO of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Beograd, noting that the exchange of knowledge and experience will be one of the most important legacies of Expo 2027.
