Expo Caravan Arrives in Vrnjačka Banja: Pavilion of Play Brings Visitors Together in the Heart of Serbia's Best-Known Spa

Vrnjačka Banja is hosting the Expo Caravan - Pavilion of Play today as it continues its journey across Serbia and brings the atmosphere of Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade closer to citizens. Visitors have the opportunity to take part in interactive activities, discover the participating countries of Expo 2027 and enjoy a cultural and artistic programme featuring members of the "Abrašević" and "Vrnjački vez" cultural and artistic societies, the "Feniks" dance group and young performers. Dejan Radojičić of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade and Boban Đurović, President of the Municipality of Vrnjačka Banja, emphasised the importance of Expo 2027 for tourism development, local communities and presenting Serbia to the world. "Expo is not just an exhibition - it is the largest national project, one that will present Serbia to millions of visitors from around the world," Radojičić stressed, also speaking about the Serbian House as a place where all parts of Serbia will present their culture, traditions, tourism, development projects and potential.
Đurović said that Vrnjačka Banja, as one of Serbia's most visited tourism destinations, is ready to welcome Expo 2027 with its developed accommodation capacity, rich tourism offer and natural beauty. Celebrated water polo player Igor Gočanin also spoke about the importance of Expo for sport and tourism, particularly emphasising the role of volunteers as an indispensable part of every major international event. The Expo Caravan will continue its journey across Serbia with the aim of bringing Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade closer to citizens and enabling them to become part of an event that will bring together more than 140 international participants and attract more than four million visitors from Serbia and abroad next year.
