Iran Showcases Expo 2027 Belgrade at the 24th Iran International Sports Exhibition
Iran highlighted its enthusiasm for Expo 2027 Belgrade by launching a vibrant promotional pavilion under the subtheme “Play Together,” reflecting the Expo’s central message — “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.”
The special pavilion dedicated to Expo 2027 Belgrade was inaugurated at the 24th Iran International Sports Exhibition, held from October 23–26, 2025, at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground. Featuring the official Expo2027 Belgrade branding alongside symbols of Iran’s national identity, the pavilion served as a dynamic space for cultural, artistic, and sporting interaction.
The opening ceremony included group exercises with more than 200 athletes, traditional dance performances, and a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony. In addition, a rally of 150 cyclists wearing Expo-branded apparel celebrated Iran’s participation. The event also featured remarks from Mr. Beikzadeh, Iran’s Section Commissioner for Expo 2027 Belgrade, as well as other sports officials.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors enjoyed traditional games, folk performances, and sports competitions, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Federation of Rural and Indigenous Games, and the Tehran Public Sports Federation. The event drew senior officials and media representatives, who expressed strong support for Iran’s active role in the upcoming Expo.
Through these engaging initiatives, Iran has taken an important step toward national participation and public awareness for Expo 2027 Belgrade, underscoring its commitment to unity, creativity, and shared humanity through sport and music.
