Lin Dan, a two-time Olympic champion and one of the greatest badminton players of all time, has become a new ambassador of Expo 2027 Belgrade. His appointment further strengthens the ambassadorial team, which already includes Usain Bolt and Jackie Chan, by adding a figure who enjoys exceptional recognition in Asia, one of the most important regions for the promotion of the Specialised Exhibition Expo.
In addition to the international ambassadors, the Expo 2027 platform also includes volunteer programme ambassadors Tijana Bogdanović and Milan Glušac, while further well-known names from Serbia will be presented in the coming period. The aim of the ambassadorial programme is to promote the values of the theme “Play for Humanity” and to present Belgrade and Serbia to audiences around the world in the lead-up to the exhibition.

To date, 27 countries from this part of the world have confirmed their participation, which is why it is important for us to have among our ambassadors figures who are recognised and respected by audiences in Asia.
