Applications Arriving from All Sides: More than 6,600 Candidates Have Already Applied for the Expo 2027 Volunteer Programme

Candidates for the “Expo Playmakers” programme have shown the greatest interest in volunteer positions involving direct contact with international participants, delegations and visitors, including work in pavilions, protocol, the press centre, sports and educational programmes, and support for participating countries. In just one month since the platform was launched, more than 6,600 candidates from Serbia, the region and over 62 countries around the world have applied.

There are currently 48 volunteer positions open on the platform, covering almost all segments of the organisation of the Specialised Exhibition Expo. Volunteers can expect specialised training, international experience, a certificate of participation, partner benefits and the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills that will be valuable for their further education and professional development.

“I invite students, athletes, creatives and everyone who wants to see what the organisation of a global event looks like from the inside to apply for our volunteer programme. The world is coming to Belgrade, and the Playmakers - our volunteers - will be the ones to welcome them first,” said Danilo Jerinić, CEO of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Beograd.
