Record Attendance at Children’s Workshops within the Expo 2027 Playground!

The workshops within the Expo 2027 Playground have become a true sensation among the youngest visitors!
Following the successful celebration of the World Space Week, programmes such as “A Journey Among the Stars” - which showcased a newly-installed mobile planetarium - and “Build Your Own Solar System” were filled to capacity in record time. Each day, more than 100 new applications are received from parents eager for their children to experience the magic of science and play under the planetarium dome.
“Such a great response is the best confirmation that our concept - a fusion of play, art and science - is the right path to win over the young audiences. When a child’s curiosity is sparked through play, learning comes naturally. Just like many of the world’s scientists whose discoveries were presented at International Exhibitions, who reached great ideas through play. We would like to thank all our citizens for their trust,” said Danilo Jerinić, Director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade.
After the remarkable enthusiasm of the young visitors who “travelled among the stars” inside the planetarium, the next opportunity to explore the cosmos awaits on Tuesday, 14 October, when the doors of the mobile planetarium at Hall 5 of the Belgrade Fair will reopen.
On that occasion, the “Our Cosmic Neighbourhood” workshop will be held, followed in the coming weeks by a series of other activities, including exhibitions of children’s artwork as part of the October Children’s Salon.
Admission to all workshops within the Expo 2027 Playground is free, but prior registration is required. The workshops are designed to encourage curiosity, teamwork and creativity among children.
All programmes will be announced in due time through the media, the official Expo 2027 Belgrade website, and the Expo Viber channel.
