SEE Agreement Between the Republic of Serbia and the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) Adopted in Paris
At a meeting held in Paris, the draft of the SEE Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) was officially adopted. This agreement regulates the rights of both official and non-official participants of the Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade.

"The SEE Agreement, following the standard procedures of international exhibitions around the world, provides a formal framework that ensures international participants a clear structure for organizing and conducting their activities in Serbia. Based on this agreement, we can continue successful communication with them and, after allocating pavilions and defining their themes, proceed with establishing their business entities in our country. This also includes finalizing technical elements, content, and logistics, as well as regulating the employment of their staff," said Igor Kovačević, Director of International Cooperation of Expo 2027 Belgrade.

This type of agreement is standard practice for international exhibitions held under the auspices of the BIE. Its adoption and signing represent an international obligation of the Republic of Serbia, in accordance with the Paris Convention and established Expo protocols.

The official signing ceremony of the agreement is planned for the end of June in Belgrade, at which point the Republic of Serbia will formally confirm its readiness to fulfill all international obligations as the host of Expo 2027 Belgrade.
