Serbian pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka breaks records: 800,000 visitors - a signal of Serbia’s new image to the world

More than 800,000 visitors to the National Pavilion of Serbia have had the opportunity, within the framework of the World Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai Japan, to discover the rich content our country has presented before the eyes of the world. This number is a confirmation of the strong interest of the international public in the Serbian Pavilion, as well as of the quality and appeal of its programme.
The National Pavilion in Osaka highlights the innovations, creativity and potential of our country, while simultaneously sending a strong message of a modern Serbia – a country developing dynamically and building new connections across the globe.
“The great success of the Serbian Pavilion in Osaka is not only about the figure - 800,000 visitors mean 800,000 new opportunities for Serbia’s voice to be heard. This result makes us proud but also commits us to go a step further at the Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade, in terms of programme, organisation and hospitality. Our aim is for Expo 2027 to be the meeting point of the entire world, but also the opportunity to present Serbia as a country of tourism and economic potential, a country that keeps pace with the latest technological achievements, while at the same time nurturing and preserving its tradition and cultural identity,” stated Danilo Jerinić, Director of Expo 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade.
Serbia continues to strengthen its international image through the Expo platform. The result in Osaka is the best announcement of what awaits us in 2027 in Belgrade, when Serbia will once again host the whole world.
