STRONG INTEREST IN EXPO PLAYMAKERS: HERE ARE THE MOST SOUGHT-AFTER VOLUNTEER ROLES

Strong interest in the “Expo Playmakers” programme confirms that volunteering at Expo 2027 represents an opportunity to gain a unique international experience. The highest number of applications so far has been recorded for positions in digital and marketing teams, the organisation of sports and educational programmes, work in pavilions, security and protocol sectors, as well as operations and programme content - areas that will enable volunteers to work directly with visitors, delegations and international participants.

Over the 93 days of the Specialised Exhibition Expo, volunteers will take part in programme delivery, work in international and thematic pavilions, communication with visitors, media support, logistics and protocol, gaining experience in the organisation of one of the largest international events in the region. They will also have a special role in the thematic pavilions, where they will participate in delivering interactive content and presenting the concept of the exhibition through six thematic areas.

Applications for the “Expo Playmakers” programme are open to all interested candidates from Serbia and abroad who will have turned 18 by 15 April 2027. Candidates can choose from almost all segments of the Expo 2027 organisation, from working with international participants and visitors to logistics, transport and operational support, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable experience in organising the largest international event Serbia has ever hosted.
