The Czech Republic Signs Participation Contract for Expo 2027 Belgrade

Jagoda Lazarević, Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade in the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Commissioner for Expo 2027 Belgrade; Danilo Jerinić, Director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade; and Krištof Šafer, Section Commissioner of the Czech Republic for Expo 2027 Belgrade, signed the Czech Republic's Participation Contract for Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade at the EXPO 2027 Playground. By signing the contract, the Czech Republic officially begins preparations for its presentation at the exhibition. Lazarević stressed that it is a country with a rich tradition and significant achievements in science, business, culture and the arts, and that its participation is an opportunity to further strengthen bilateral relations between Serbia and the Czech Republic.

Krištof Šafer, Section Commissioner of the Czech Republic, announced that the Czech pavilion will be dedicated to the importance of knowledge, work and commitment in achieving major goals. "Our pavilion at Expo will present the vision that if you work hard, study hard and dedicate yourself to your goals, you really can fly to the Moon or into space, because the Czech Republic is sending an astronaut into space next year," Šafer said. Danilo Jerinić highlighted the strong historical, cultural and academic ties between the two countries and the Czech Republic's rich tradition at international exhibitions. Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade will take place from 15 May to 15 August 2027 and, over 93 days, will bring together countries, international organisations, companies and visitors from around the world.
