Towards Expo: First Bus Lines to the Expo Complex Planned from November

09.10.2026

From 1 November 2026, four direct city bus lines are planned to connect Belgrade with the exhibition complex in Surčin: from the Beograd na vodi and Zemun (Bačka) terminals, as well as from the Vukov spomenik departure point and the Ustanička terminal. A total of 31 eco-friendly buses are planned for these routes until 31 March 2027, with departures approximately every 15 to 22 minutes. From 1 April, EXPO 1 is planned to connect Nikola Tesla Airport directly with the Expo, while a separate bus service is planned between the Nacionalni stadion railway station and the exhibition entrance.

From 1 May 2027, the network would include seven direct and three local lines, with more than 90 buses, including new routes from Belville and Block 45. A new Belgrade urban railway line is also planned from Beograd centar station via the airport to Nacionalni stadion station, with passengers continuing to the Expo by bus. “Public transport is one of the most important parts of the organisation and daily operation of the exhibition. That is why we approached planning strategically, in cooperation with all partners at the local level,” said Danilo Jerinić, Director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade. The full bus network is planned to be operational two weeks before the exhibition opens and will cover its entire duration.
