Usain Bolt First Ambassador of Expo 2027 Belgrade: The Fastest Man in the World Spreads a Global Message of Play

One of the greatest athletes of all time, eight-time Olympic champion and world record holder in the 100m and 200m sprints, Usain Bolt, has been announced as the first ambassador of the Specialized Expo 2027, which will be held in Belgrade under the theme "Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All."

This collaboration symbolically unites the spirit of Expo 2027 with the world’s most recognizable symbol of speed, play, and positive energy. As a man who transformed the course of athletics, Bolt will use his role as ambassador to help share the values of Expo – play, movement, inspiration, and solidarity – with millions of people around the globe.

“It’s a great honor to be in Serbia for the first time and to be chosen as an ambassador for Expo 2027 Belgrade. I have friends here and know many successful athletes from your country, and I’m glad to help introduce Serbia to the world. Expo is a chance for people to connect – through encounters, exchange, and the energy that brings us together. The theme of play is close to my heart – it shaped who I am. Today, more than ever, children need to be outside, moving and playing, so they can grow and become better human beings,” said Bolt.
