The most prestigious award in Serbian tourism, the "Tourism Flower," was presented this year for the 39th time to the best and most deserving individuals and organizations for significantly raising the quality of tourism services, as well as for their contributions to the development, improvement, and promotion of Serbian tourism. A special recognition for 2024 was awarded to the Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade.

"It is a great privilege and honor to receive the Tourism Flower award from the Tourist Organization of Serbia, the most significant accolade in the field of tourism. We are preparing for the largest event our country has ever had the opportunity to host, which will attract more than 4 million visitors," said Dušan Borovčanin, Director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade.

Tourism plays a key role in the economic and cultural development of Serbia, serving as a significant source of income and creating opportunities for new jobs. Rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, authentic cuisine, and traditional hospitality make Serbia an attractive destination for visitors from around the world. Major global events, such as the upcoming Specialized Expo in Belgrade, greatly contribute to the growth of tourism by attracting international visitors, increasing the destination’s visibility, and fostering economic growth through accommodation, hospitality, and related services.
